The Museum of Ordinary things has an exhibition to give more contributions to women who invented items beneficial to our essential daily lives. Women have often been sidelined throughout history due to peer pressure, lack of opportunity, or flat-out sexism. Women are responsible for the computer’s early sketches, discovering the DNA double helix, and even splitting the atom, but men claimed those advancements as their own. Women throughout the world have contributed to humanity with their fair share of cutting-edge inventions, without which we cannot imagine our lives today.
