Nature Sauce
Nature Sauce is an LLC company that produces vegan pasta sauce. Its mission is to create a high quality, nutritious sauce that contain organic and all natural ingredients. A lot of pasta sauce brands displayed in supermarkets contain harsh chemicals that are hazardous to health. Nature Sauce cares about its components and quality of taste. Unlike any other food product, the company wants its customers to consume “actual fruits and vegetables,” rather than artificial sweeteners or preservatives.
For the package design, I created an image of a hand that is holding a bowl full of vegetables. The company and I intended to make the vegetables in color, while the hand was in black or white. We believe that if the vegetables were colorful, it would add more variation to the composition of the package as a whole. The design is supposed to have a “sophisticated” and “clean” look. The idea is that “less is more.” The simplicity of the typography, as well as, the black and white image of the hand demonstrates that Nature Sauce does not produce any complex ingredients to its products. The black background demonstrates the idea that if you let vegetables grow in its natural cycle “throughout the day and night,” then there is no need to add artificial preservatives. Dark light can produce nutritious foods on its own.
